Hydraulically actuated diaphragm valve. The valve has 3 working positions: 

"Manually open" - the valve allows as much water as is consumed by the source connected to the outlet 
"Manually closed" - the valve does not let any water through 
"Automatic" - in this mode, the state of the valve is determined by the solenoid, which allows automation of the operation of the valve
